كبنات وابناء الشعب الفلسطيني، لم يمر يوما دون أن نستشعر مُر الاحتلال وقسوة الاستعمار، إلا أنه خلال أكثر من الثمانية اشهر الأخيرة، تصاعدت الحرب على غزة وباتت عمليات إبادة شعبنا الفلسطيني جليّة أمام أعين العالم. نحن كفلسطينيين وفلسطينيات ندرك بوضوح قيمة وأهمية الرواية الفلسطينية وأثرها على حياتنا ونضالنا.

رغم ممارسة كل طرق القمع والتسكيت بهدف محي صوتنا وتجاربنا، ورغم الشعور بالعجز أمام بشاعة الموقف، من مسؤوليتنا ألّا نبقى متفرجين ومتفرجات وأن نستخدم شتى الوسائل التي نستطيع لمركزة صوتنا وسرديتنا.

لطالما استُخدم الفن في فلسطين كوسيلة نضالية شعبيّة توطد علاقتنا مع هويتنا الفلسطينية وتأكدها فتحافظ على قضيتنا حية. ونهدف من خلال هذا الزين (المحلة المصغرة) أن نعكس واقعنا ونجعل سرديتنا حاضرة.

As Palestinians, not a day passes without us experiencing the bitterness of the occupation and the cruelty of colonialism. Yet, in the past more than eight months the attack on Gaza has escalated and the genocidal practices against our Palestinian people have become even more evident before the eyes of the world.

We, as Palestinians, are fully aware of the value and significance of our narrative and its impact on our lives and collective struggle.

Art has been used in Palestine as a tool of resistance that keeps our cause alive by strengthening the connection with our Palestinian identity .and reaffirming it
